The sixth Austrian Robotics Workshop seeks to bring together researchers, professionals and practitioners working on different topics in robotics to discuss recent developments and future challenges in robotics and its applications. The 2018 edition of the workshop series will be held at the University of Innsbruck in May 2018. The organizers envision strengthening the cooperation between academia and industry. Therefore, the contributions and participation from industry is encouraged. Further, there will be a special poster track for early (1st and 2nd year) PhD students to present their ideas and receive valuable feedback from both experienced researchers and practitioners.

The best research paper, student paper and poster will be recognized with a Best Student Paper (sponsored by ABB Group), the IEEE RAS ARW2018 Award (sponsored by IEEE RAS Austria Section) and a Best Poster Award (sponsored by the GMAR), respectively. Students are therefore encouraged to submit as principal (first) author.

The workshop will take place from May 17th-18th, 2018 in Innsbruck and is organized by the University of Innsbruck.
